The Bulgarian Football Union UEFA initiative – supported by Promote Medical

The Bulgarian Football Union has entered into an agreement to provide the Promote Medical emergency bags to their country team representatives in European club tournaments. Ludogorets, Levski, CSKA Sofia and Slavia have all now been provided with the Pro-Med Omnio bags, full equipped and with defibrillators.

President Borislav Mihailov’s initiative is to support their professional clubs and to meet the strict UEFA minimum pitchside requirements that are binding in all tournaments.

The first club to have the emergency bag was Levski. This happened at a special meeting between Dr Biser Bochev, a member of the medical committee of UEFA and Dr Georgi Iliev, a representative of the medical staff of the Sofia team at the Boyana National Football Base. Dr Bochev gave details about the equipment and unveiled the initiative to hold a certified UEFA training seminar for the doctors of the clubs in the Bulgarian professional football league in November. The course will be held at the Football House and will be on the topic “Emergencies in Football Medicine”.

Team leaders of the First and Second League teams will have the opportunity to learn about the behavioural algorithms for the different types of emergencies, to discuss all the possible scenarios related to the topic and to receive a certificate of participation. The seminar will be held by a highly-qualified medical team endorsed by UEFA.

In the next few months the Bulgarian Football Union intend to provide a further supply of Promote Medical bags to the other First League clubs in order to raise the overall standard of medical service for all matches in their league championships.

We look upon it as a one stop mobile clinic so that wherever you are playing, training or practising football you know that all of the emergency equipment you will need for any advanced life support situation is at hand.

  • DefibrillatorsKey Differences in Design The Philips HS1 and the Philips FRx are both automated external defibrillators (AEDs) designed to provide emergency treatment for sudden cardiac arrest, but they have some key differences in their design, features, and intended use environments.  Choosing between the two depends on the intended environment and user expertise. The HS1 is perfect for those looking for a straightforward, user-friendly AED, while the FRx offers enhanced durability and versatility for more demanding situations.
  • AccessoriesStyled To Suit Your Needs All accessories are designed to be added in a seamless way. The Connect and 02 cylinder bags are securely attached to side release clips for both the Primo and the Omnio 22 and Primo respectively. When not attached all clips can be neatly hidden behind slip pockets behind the piped seams of the Omnio 22 and Primo. The foldable trolley fits into the trolley slip pocket on the back of both the Omnio 22 and Primo and allows you the flexibility to wheel as well as carry your medical bag on your travels. Our accessories provide additional options for you to include or not depending on your medical bag requirements.
